NORMA B. WINNER – Spring Hill, FL

NORMA’S BIO

I have been involved with volunteer work most of my life. Either being one or working with them. When my five children were little, I was the Cookie Mother for the
Girl Scouts, then I served as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts and when my boys were old enough for Boy Scouts, I was the Cub Scout Den Leader Coach. When my youngest
started school, I went back to work driving a school bus for five years and working for the United Way of Central MD between bus trips. When the United Way office
moved downtown, I had to give up the bus driving. I then became the Director of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) of Central MD and held that job for over 21 years
working with hundreds of volunteers every year. After I retired, I did volunteer work for the Nearly New Sale of the Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

When I moved to Spring Hill, FL, I volunteered at DayStar and then joined the Hernando Computer Club (HCC) and taught for several years before moving to the
Spring Hill Teaching Computer Club where I taught for nine years. Now, I am back teaching at HCC.

I am a member of the American Sewing Guild (ASG) and the Florida Sewing Sew-ciety (FSS) and teach for both organizations.

CERTIFICATION TESTIMONIAL

The certification was wonderful! The class was small and we all received a lot of individual attention. Judy answered all questions and went above and beyond with
her help and attention to detail. All the participants were ready to teach on their own at the completion of the course.
