Patti And The Florida Fit Club

I met this amazing, vivacious woman about 6 years ago.  She was a little dynamo with a personality that was twice her size.  Instantly knew we would be friends.  That was a very blessed day.  Patti Van Matre and I have kept in touch since then, have sewn together at retreats, joined each other for sewing fundays and classes.  It has been one of those friendships that miles cannot separate.  Those ladies that have worked with her know how extraordinary she really  is and I hope that everyone else will see this come through in her pictures and words.

She asked me a few years ago about putting together a Fit Club just for her sewing ladies and this is the result.  She is now in her second year and I couldn’t be more thrilled.  It is a treat for me to get her emails with so many happy faces.

The Florida Sewing Sew-ciety has been in love with the FitNice creations and Judy Kessinger for many years. The Fit Club has made it even more fun. It is like getting a Christmas present every other month! I love it. 

It has long been one of my dreams to have an FSS FitNice Club and make the top of the month together. We  started it in April, 2016 and have at least 10 members. . The requirements are that you have a current membership in the Fit Club and you have been professionally fitted by Judy or one of her certified teachers. We  meet two weeks after the pattern is received. How fun!!! I am excited!! I enjoy the excitement of the group and it continues to grow. As the ladies have made the tops their sewing confidence and skills have certainly improved. I especially like that we can make tops for relatives and friends as all we need is their measurements.
