I always hear “I wish you were in my area”—so, 2017 is dedicated to being around the country and bring FitNice to you! 

I have booked 8 retreats.  They MUST have a minimum of 10 before the retreat can be held.  I chose to stop the registration by November 1 because I must let all the hotels know if this is a go or not.  If this is something you would like to do—register now.  $85 holds your spot and the balance does not need to be paid till 90 days before the actual retreat!   I am trying to do this the easiest way for all of us! 

Retreats have always been something I have loved doing.  Started doing them in Louisville 9 years ago.  I love watching ladies go from  “this might be fun to OMG—I can do that…and that…and that”  I literally have the pleasure of seeing creativity in front of me.   Ladies take fabric to fashion in harmony with fit and comfort.  YES—that it fun to watch.

Day one is reserved for the tops pattern—drafted, sew and tweaked for fit.

Day two is reserved for the same only with the pants pattern. 

On the third day I start with a condensed version of the Trunk Show and demonstrate how to use the two patterns created on day one and two.  Then I go into showing how to design and copy ideas. 

Those ideas can come from magazines, catalogs or even a piece of clothing that they bring from home.  All items for the top part of the body are created equal—they start with a front and back and maybe sleeves.  I am there to be the escort that takes you from an image to a way to reinvent  that concept in a pattern.   Day three is also reserved for fun –playing in the clothes and in some cities field trips!  Day four we put on all the finishing touches—making sure the patterns are transformed to equal the outfits created during the retreat
